 Collaborations

In 2021, I provided digital compositing services for the mural “NO STRINGS DETACHED" created by Paul Goodnight and Laurence "Larry" Pierce. In addition, I contributed numerous creative compositional elements to the final version of the mural. This collaboration resulted in a digitally printed image, on woven vinyl fabric, and mounted on a steel frame. Its dimensions were 19' x 60'. It was the first in a series of similarly produced temporary artworks. This was part of the Mentoring Murals project sponsored by NOW + THERE mural program, for Greater Grove Hall community and Main Streets initiative.

The theme was the long and continuous legacy of stringed instruments brought to the Western Hemisphere by people of African decent. The Banjo being a central representation of that legacy. The influence of these instruments have laid the foundation of modern dance forms
