I am primarily a figurative image-maker, who is excited and inspired by the possibilities that Art in general and my art in particular can discover. For me, Art is about exploration and discovery.

People of the African Diaspora are a primary focus in my figurative works. I chose to explore the dynamics of the human experience through this lens. I look for a narrative element in the situations and images I create.

The bottom line for me is to enlighten where possible and bring a little light into people's lives. It's about recalling a moment and establishing a mood or making a statement. It's about the possibilities; things remembered and things imagined, the human experience. Hopefully people will appreciate what I see and enjoy themselves.
